New Surveys
 

Moneysense magazine has just published a new survey on the best and worst places to live in Canada - was listening to them discuss it on the radio whilst driving home. Apparently they based their findings on a number of things, including salaries, cost of housing, murder rate, rainfall etc. Number 1 place to live was Ottawa, Halifax was number 2. I didn't get to hear where the worst places were. Apparently only west coast town to get into the top 25 was Victoria BC, mainly because of the cost of housing and salaries. Moncton, NB came out well for families with young children. Interesting.
They were also talking about another survey that found stay at home moms would earn C$150 000 if they were paid for all they did. Made me feel like I was contributing to the household after all.
