The inference that the OP's barely disguised racism would be more at home in the Maritimes. Would such views be acceptable there? Would he be a valued member of society, networking his way into Director of IT/Project Management/Whatever-so-long-as-it-doesn't-involve-them-orientals? Or not.

While it was nice to see the majority of people commenting publicly in newspapers and on the web thought she was wrong, there were quite a lot of people who thought she should have been allowed to discriminate in the way she did.

Moncton made the national news recently when a florist backed out of an order to do flowers for a wedding when she discovered it was for a lesbian couple.
While it was nice to see the majority of people commenting publicly in newspapers and on the web thought she was wrong, there were quite a lot of people who thought she should have been allowed to discriminate in the way she did.

Could not agree more - I am usually more of a lurker than an active contributor but this morning, having read both this thread and the whinge about landing at YVR, I'm moved to add my 2 cents worth..... I for one am exceedingly glad that Canadian_Bacon_Boy feels he is too good for those of us slumming it in the ghettos of Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.
PS.... I am fairly sure that brekkie cereal is very similar cost across most of Canada (and don't forget to factor in the cost of super expensive milk)
