New PR card waiting time
Hi,
I was waiting for my initial PR card since I arrived in 1st January 2011. According to cic, it should not take more than 29 business days.so according to it I should receive it today. Can anyone advise me plz.looks like cic is not honoring their set time scale.

Hi
1. Well you could sue.
2. When you "landed" the processing time was greater that the 29 days quoted now, probably about 36.
3. If they stuck to the 29 days, don't forget it doesn't include mailing time. you would have it next week.
4. Renewal has come down from 213 days to 175 days.

Timeline was running late for us last year and it took 47 days so hang in there

We've been waiting for our PR cards since July last year. We have our 18 month old son's, but his is the only one we have to date. Still waiting.....
