new to NS!!!!!
 

:D Ok we've been in Nova scotia since april this year, nearly settled (i think) i suppose to be honest i still feel quite lost. We're a large family so always busy busy running around after everyone:thumbsup:
I miss my friends and although i'm on skype,msn and facebook its not fullfilling enough.....
I've met a couple of mums from the school which didn't lead anywhere as most work or we have nothing in common:(
Its quite mad really cos i'm a talkitive,friendly person, maybe they think i'm the nutty english women:sneaky:
Anyway enough waffling...we've met one english family but i was wondering if there are any mums who don't work who fancy having a chat maybe getting together etc. would be great to hear from u:thumbup:

Hi to both of you

I will be a mum living in fall river, we fly out on the 13th aug !!! Up to my eyes in everything currently and still holding down an intensely stressful job until the 31st July. I would love to get to know people, we have two girls one 10yrs and a 5yr old both of whom are excited and bewildered about the whole thing. :D

Anyway thought I would jump in say hello and perhaps make a few contacts !

Hi Traci,

I'm Karen and we have a house in Windsor Junction, which is right over the railway track from Fall River, only 5 mins away. We move over to NS in May next year. We are out to do our landing process on 1st August and return to the UK on 20th.

It will probably be a very busy time for you when you first get out there but if you want to get together for a chinwag before we go back then that would be good.
