New IM0008 form

Dear Sir/Madam;

In the old IMM0008 form there was a ticking box for whether you are the principal applicant or a dependent. In the new IMM0008 form there is nothing on the application that shows whether you are a principal applicant or a dependent applicant who are 22 years of age or older who has to fill his/her own IMM0008 form such as an acompanying spouse.

Among your IMM0008 application and your wife's, how would the visa officer tell which IMM0008 application is for the principal and which is for the dependent (the spouse).
Please advice
thanks

Re: New IM0008 form

There are 4 forms to be completed in the Skilled Worker class (IMM 0008,
Schedule 1 and Schedule 3, additional family information) - on first page of
Schedule 1 if the selection you are looking for.

Re: New IM0008 form

Does that mean that everybody included in the principal applicant's application has to fill in IMM 0008 or is it just the principal applicant?

Re: New IM0008 form

Please read the instructions how to fill the forms - all is well explained in
the visa post specific guide as well as here:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/-
skilled/how-3.html

IMM 0008 has to be completed by principal applicant only; Schedule 1 by
principal applicant, spouse and dependent children 18 years or older; Schedule
3 by principal applicant; Additional Family Information by principal applicant,
spouse and dependent children 18 years or older.

Please don't be offended but if you have problems even with such basic issues
then it may be beneficial to seek professional assistance...

Re: New IM0008 form

Of course i am offended, your reply was fine till you added the condescending last bit.....It was your intial incomplete reply to the original posting that caused the confusion. I guess my problem is being naive and taken in by your "know it all" attitude and belief that you were here for the general good. Unfortunately, you've just shown yourself to be nothing different from all these so called "immmigration" consultants who would use any available opportunity to solicit for work. I guess it's appropriate in your case in this era of "dearth" of applications. Won't be surprised if your next response would be "please contact me directly for a professional assessment of your chances". You should know better. Good day

Re: New IM0008 form

Could you please show me which part of your post/question has been answered
"incompletely"? I believe that I provided more than you asked for.

And in which part of my response I have "solicited for work"?

And I will not ask you to contact me directly as your attitude is the main
problem here, not mine. None of us contributing to this group for free has any
obligation to be here "for general good" and none of us has any obligation to
answer completely or to answer at all every question posted. Nobody has "taken"
you and for sure it wasn't me.
