need suggestions regarding canada immigration

I would to bring ur kind notice that i'm interested in canda immigration in skilled worker category.So.regarding this i do have some queries which i think u can help me out very well. Before going any further, let me introduce my self.Basically , i'm an Electrical Engineer Holding Masters in engineering also.Still i haven't applied for immigration yet.Presently.I'm having a indian citizenship.

1)can i add up my (new job) work experience before giving interview ,latest one after i had submitted my application. So as to increase my total work experience. As i think i will lack in this section.??

2) One of my friend has immigrated to Canada in july2002.Before going to canada he was living with me since 1-year in the same apartment. He was close to me.We both were doing same job.He is ready to support me in canada. So,will he be counted as my common-law-partner??

3) What is the meaning this statement ((definition of common-law-partner: With a person u should have live-in - relationship prior to the submission of application))

Looking forward to receive ur valuable reply soon.

urs truly,

kanishk
