Hello!

I'm desperately trying to sort out my kids passports that have run out and need renewing. I need to get the photos signed and two good friends of mine work in a bank. For the countersignatures they say a bank officer can sign them.....but what do you see as a bank officerl?

Not the answer to your question, but if your kids are in school, the best person to ask would be the headteacher. You won't have to make a special trip like you would to the bank and the principal will surely know who your kids are better than somebody at the bank.......?

A bank officer is someone who works in the bank. I wouldn't worry about it really, I have never heard of anyone checking up on the signatories of photos before, unless there has been fraud proved later.

Hubby just renewed his passport Monday in London (business trip) and he said pictures don't need signing on back when it is a renewal, so check that out!

usually they only need signing if your appearance has changed significantly. I'd assume that a child's has.

I'd say anyone that works in a bank will do.
