Default Need to delay Medicals, any suggestion?

Hey guys, great forum

I have a question which most of you are not used
to read.

I am in US, trying to obtain a green card, I shifted jobs,
from a non stable one to a stable one. I applied for Canadian
immigration while at the first job (non stable US based), and now my
immigration consultant received the IA saying that I need to go for
Medicals in 60 days. I was expecting this IA to arrive in at least a
year more and I would like to delay things as much as possible (a
year?).

Any ideas as per reasons not to appear for the medicals on
time?
Or can I send a letter to the Consulate in Buffalo requesting to
delay the medicals? what reason shall I give? Is there a particular form
I am supposed to fill? Do you know of any cases where a medical was
delayed for NN days and not for pregnancy?

What happens if I don't go
for the medicals now but I go in next 6 months, will that make any
difference? will they be accepted?

Thanks a lot.

Please reply me
with suggestions and not with questions, thanks.
