My Travelling Idea + Rent free, advice needed
I don't wanted a fixed location living somewhere, I have job in Toronto and I can work as much or as little as needed shifts , and want to get a job in Vancouver at the same time, but travel between the two locations using Greyhound I know it takes 3 days.
So Using Greyhound Discovery Pass I travel anywhere on my days off (NYC, Montreal, Seattle etc) and between Toronto and Vancouver I would only be this doing once every month at most, I can use Greyhound/ Airports for Sleeping (couch surf when ever possible as make friends along the way) and Use 24 hour gyms and Hostels for showers. calling the hostel before hand, and getting Gym memberships for places I work in, My Plan is to start with Toronto first, and just travel locally and see how it plans out, I would carry the minimal about stuff possible any recommendation on clothing etc, I would Need Toronto Address for Mail, and Tax, anyone got ideas for cheap solutions. Need Vancouver one as well, mainly for applying for jobs etc and maybe american one, Obviously I have lot planning to do before I do this full time. I'm looking at Feb I know this sounds insane but I love to travel and this will force me to travel more and allow me to travel more with no worries about rent. I slept in Airports and done day trips to places before but not on full time scale, if anyone has any tips solutions, ideas please let me have them, |

This is a brilliant idea. You can be like Tom Hanks in that movie and live off those little crackers and ketchup packets you get in fast food places.

You'll have a wonderful time. Sleeping on the bus as it travels through the night to your next place is great idea. If you're not too particular you can have a bit of wash in a MacDonalds or Burger King toilet. The gym idea sounds brilliant or you might want to consider the YMCA for a sleep or make some friends. Have you read Jack Kerouac's On the Road? Its great inspiration when travelling and he's Canadian as well. Just to remember to bring some puzzles along as the vast distances here can make it a bit boring.

Are you a Canadian citizen or a PR of Canada ???
If yes then carry on. If not then I just might have a small problem with your idea. Plus you just might want to read this and choose your seat buddy carefully http://www.canada.com/windsorstar/ne...a-53801510af24 |
