My Quebec Application
 

Hi all,

I sent my CSQ application today, 06/07/2009, in the post. I'm French but I live in Ireland, in Dublin, with my Irish partner.

For all Irish applicants, note that your local Garda station will certify all documents for free! Good to know.

Now the waiting game begins, and I'll let everybody know how it goes...

Certify documents? Equivalent to notarizing all documents? Can they do that? As in will Canadian immigration accept that?
I thought a special has to notarize it? No?

EG Confirming Original - Payslips, References, P45s, P60s, Contracts, Technical Qualifications etc with their copies.

Hi,

I confirm that the Garda station on Pearse street, Dublin, certified all our documents, with official stamp and co, and it didn't cost us a cent! :)

The CSQ is the "Certificat de Selection du Quebec", or in short Quebec application. First step in getting Quebec approval, before applying for the normal federal selection, but with the Quebec stamp

Well, as I'm French, and my Irish girlfriend is fluent, makes some kind of sense no? :)
