We will be in Victoria for at least a year but likely to be more. I'm looking forward to the change from the challenges of quebec. The biggest move was moving here in the first. Having send that the flight from the uk to quebec is actually quicker than from quebec to victoria.

it's probably also cheaper to fly PQ to UK than PQ to BC

it's certainly MUCH cheaper to fly Vancouver to the UK than it is Vancouver to Halifax, NS .......

......... although it is only about 7 hours in the air to NS vs 8-10 hours to UK

you do get to spend around 1-2 hours on the ground in Calgary, Toronto or Ottawa on the way to NS --------- your choice of which one
