I'm moving to North Vancouver soon. How's the Apartment rent there like for a single bed room? Is it easy to find a job?

Easy enough to find an apartment, have you checked out www.suitedeals.com for a temporary place to stay? www.nsnews.com is the local paper - will give you an idea of rentals

Also, have you joined the Brits2Vancouver yahoo group ... there are some get togethers coming up which will help with the networking

There is also a furnished Room in a Town House for single people for short term rental. I know two folk who have stayed at Ehab's and enjoyed their stay there :)
