Hi all I know this wont be exact but roughly how much will a moving company charge from uk to Alberta from a 3 bed semi thanks

You can get the shippers round to give you a free quote. Can be anything up to £5k for a 20ft container. The next question you'll be asking is.... who can recommend a good shipper!!! :rofl:

Hi

We are shipping 20ft container, quotes are in from GBP 3,500 to GBP 4,500. That's for a full pack and door to door service, insurance is extra. This is from UK to Ontario.

The average 3 bedroom house belongings is about the volume of a 20ft container and ball park is around £4500 to Canada.

Just booked Whites, not the cheapest - but have most confidence.

London to Tdot with Storage chucked in £4700.00 (two pick ups in London).

Marine Transit Insurance on Top. Not going for biggest package of Marine insurance the more reasonable one. 2.5% I believe.

I would say - go with your gut feeling about a company - who do you feel most comfortable.

When we did the move in 2008, we went with Foxes, this time they were more expensive and I did not feel as comfortable.
