Hi Rags, and welcome to the forum.

I've just taken a look at your other thread in the US forum and seen that you are a welder, which means that you have absolutely no chance of getting a visa for the US. Sorry to be blunt but better that you know early - the US is notoriously difficult to get in to and unless you have incredibly specialist skills (that mean a company will wait a year for you to get there and spend thousands of $ on your application) there is no chance.

But, the good news is that you do stand a chance for Canada assuming you meet the visa criteria. Start with reading the Wiki (on blue bar at top of page) which will give you info on the different visas available and the process involved.

As for the cost of living, there are a lot of threads on here about it. Generally, it's said to be the same as in the UK if that helps at all. Some people are better off there, and some are not, it will just depend on your circumstances.

Bear in mind that it costs a lot to get over there (costing us as a family of four approx £20k to move), so you do need to be sure it's the country for you and have that money to start with.

there is gap around the door, so that you can see if anyone is using it, my daughter hates it - in the uk the door fits and there is no gap :thumbup:

But still calls it the Loo and not washroom, plus many other uk saying she won't give up, lets see when she starts kindergarten later in the year :unsure:

I'm sorry to say this and I realize she's very young, but unless she's disabled she should not be using toilets for the disabled. By allowing her to do so you are teaching her to ignore what society requires from her.
