Movember
 

Anyone here heard of Movember? its the month of November where a chap will grow a moustache and look stupid for a month while he tries to raise cash for the noble cause of cancer research.

1 in 6 men will suffer from prostate cancer at some stage in their life and Movember is a worthwhile cause that channels money to cancer resaerch.

Heard of it, and have been doing this with a few guys from work.

OH is not enjoying my new 'business man' moustache.

A lot of the ( male) teachers at work are doing it.

I approve but I do feel like I'm working with the cast of a sixties porn movie

One guy has his Facebook status ( along with his latest moustache pictures ) as " looking like an asshole in support of assholes"

I think they've raised about $3000 at the moment

Thing about Movember is that you're never quite sure who is doing it and who really looks like that.

Guys in their 20s to 30, you're more or less safe to assume its for charity. Goatees, yes. Moustaches, rarely.

Above that age, could well be their normal style choice. Or not.

I spend a lot more time looking at guys' facial hair than I ever have before.

My son is doing it too - as are all the guys where he works (and I have to say, it suits him!)
