We had a quick reccy around some part of St Catherines, cos we told that that probably the busiest town/city, but we don't think we got to see the main parts. Can anyone give us a bit of a lowdown of the area for the likes of young kids growing up, and us big kids having a meal out on night. We are also looking for a new build 3->4bed detached. It does'nt have to be in the centre but somewhere no more than 1/2 hour drive.

My Son attended Brock University, which is there, it is an OK smaller city with pretty good RE Prices.

Centre of Wine country, quite picturesque, there are many small villages in the area and of course, Niagra Falls.

I like the Niagara wine, especially VQA stuff. Guess it is a case of personal taste and expectations. I guess my taste buds are fairly "normal".

I think Niagara wines are fine in stews but they're not cheaper than normal wines so what's the point of messing with them?

Hi All,
we are staying in St Catharines on hols @ the Four Points Sheraton. This is a beautiful place with plenty of places to visit ,houses are lovely
We viewed one estate and the developer said the market was steady no real upward pressure on prices. Not to far from GTA.
The wine is fine, the ambience priceless.
