More on teaching

Further to an earlier question.......having read what I need to do to get permission to teach, I am disheartened by the amount of detail about the courses and training I did which they require. I did all that stuff 25 years ago!!! Has anyone got experience of going through the process of gathering the info they need and could you get it?

thanks

Have you tried on the Working Abroad/Teacher forum. Put in your thread title that you're referring to Canada - or more particularly - the province you're intending to move to. There have been posts there before about the process of getting a Cdn teaching qualification.

You'll need a transcript and a certified copy of your degrees at least. If you visit the Student Services Centre (or whatever they want to call themselves nowadays!!) website of your old unis then they should be able to help you with all this.
