We have resorted to keeping our dog on a lead. The main difference between the U.K. and canada is your dogs position in the food chain! Even the small stuff is effective at defending itself. I have yet to meet a porcupine and I am not looking forward to it when it happens. I have seen pictures of what happens to a dog that messes with one!!

Time will tell. I just hope our dog learns not to lick any metal when the temperature is -30. How many times will this happen before he learns???

Wait until your dog spots a skunk! I knew of one dog that had been skunked 3 times, definitely had not learnt to avoid them!!
