More electrical goods question - treadmill

Not sure whether to try and sell my beloved treadmill here in the UK or can I get a voltage converter over in Canada so it'll work? Not sure with the motor whether it's as simple as converting voltage.

It cost a fair few £'s and the 2nd hand market isn't too great so if possible I'd like to take it with me.....

Also - A powered SVS Subwoofer. It's a beast which I imported from the States but it was converted by the manufacturer to UK voltage - again, worth taking or not?

Any help as always greatly appreciated.

Cheers

All depends on what it's competing with for container space. Leave out the things that are easiest or cheapest (taking into account any secondhand value in UK) to replace, and make sure the container is full.

Hey...Where are you going to? We are going back the other way, and I have exactly the same dilemma. Problem is, as you say, you get absolutely b*****r all for treadmills selling them second hand, and then of course if you want to rebuy:thumbdown:
Perhaps we could just do a straight swap
We have the same thing of course with basically anything that has a plug on the end of it, and then of course some more, as I'm sure you know.

We are taking our treadmill, even 2nd hand over there they are bloody expensive, we are using a voltage converter and just unplug it when I am not using it.....in fact we are taking quite a bit of electrical items...
yeah we know the pros and cons..
