A current ( no pun intended ) state of mind, sometimes determines that, so if you've been out on the lash, you can hardly know where the switch is, when you stumble in to your dig.

Of course not, men do serve a purpose in life, and as long as they continuously receive guidance and advice (in the most loving way possible of course) from women, they will continue to do so. :D

Hi MATE,
Can I take my electric guitar and the guitar processor with me to Australia? I am going there as a permanent resident.

Please suggest me what to do!!!

Thanks,
Peavy.

Given that this is the Canadian Lifestyle section.. I'd suggest posting in the Australian section....

If you do want a quick answer...yes you can take it.. :)
However i have no idea if your processor will be compatible with the Ozzie mains and what it would take to make it work

I think that the Australian electricity supply is 240v, 50Hz, just like here, so you'd just need to make sure that the plug fits in the socket, I'd have thought.

The processor probably works from a 9v or 18v suppply, does it? If so, the most you'd need would be a new power supply. The guitar just plugs in to the processor or amp, so as long as that's working, the guitar won't be a problem.

Surge protectors do not "Cut" the power off, they regulate the power in the event of a spike.

So the answer is yes you can combine them, but it wouldn't be cheap.

This is what you could possibly use.

This is from USA belkin site, don't know if power is the same as Canada, or if the unit is auto switching to different power.
$44 USD plus tax, I guess!
