Default More on cats.

Our two cats flew unaccompanied on a Thomas Cook flight into Toronto yesterday. We used www.jetsetpets.co.uk. They charged us 550 pounds. This included one cat transporter cage ( we already had one). My son checked them into Cargo at Glasgow Airport and we picked them up at Cargo at Toronto airport. Flight should have got in at 4pm, but was delayed till 4.30pm. They told us to come back around 6pm. Got back around 5.45pm. Cats had already been cleared by the Agricultural Inspector. We then had to take the document that had been completed by the Inspectors to Canada Border Services ( about 4 doors down) They then asked us some questions to ensure they were our pets. Stamped our document. Charged us $39.55 for the inspection. We then took our document back to Cargo, they charged us $62.00 in fees and gave us our cats. Back on the highway at 6.30pm. We didnt get them pet passports, they had rabies vaccines 2 weeks ago and a vet check 48 hours before they flew.
A long boring post, but hopefully it might help someone intending moving first and then moving their pets!

How were the cats after their journey and the delays? Were they stressed or upset at all?

A short 5 minutes of miaowing and they slept the 2 hour drive home. They have settled in absolutely no problem. Not eating a huge amount, but they are eating and seem quite happy!

You might help someone come to their senses and save them 550 pounds.
