Montreal, Calgary, Ottawa, where to go?!!

Hi again guys,

I'm tempted to move to Montreal but am worried about the fact that I don't speak French fluently.

I lived in Halifax for 5 months and loved it but it's not an option now. I'm looking for a nice city with the chance to get away from it all and hike, bike and kayak. I also like a vibrant nightlife.

Any suggestions??? :)
