Money transfers CAD to £
 

Hi, Can anyone recommend the best way of transferring money from my Canadian account over to my UK account. I live and work in Canada, but I've still got a house in the UK. I need to transfer money over to take care of house maintenance etc.. I don't expect to be transferring much more than maybe 1500 CAD at a time.

Hi,

There are several foreign exchange companies that are recommended on here. I actually work in foreign exchange so if you have any queries regarding rates and how they operate feel free to ask...

If you are transferring funds from Canada to a UK based foreign exchange company it is worth finding out what charges your Canadian bank will levy for making an international transfer.

Similarly, try and find out what charges (if any) the UK foreign exchange company have for those amounts.
