Default Money Transfer agencies

I was just wondering if people had experiances, good or bad, using money exchange agencies, to bring money over to Canada from the UK. We will need to bring the proceeds from our house sale to buy anew over there.
One in particular has been ringing us Global Reach Partners

Could be worth giving this mob a call for a quote(they do money transfers):

I have used them myself for purchasing dollars, and can't fault them at all, they also offered the best exchange rate the day that I purchased.

Any company will charge you a fee to exchange money even banks charge a fee to wire transfer money. Ask specific questions on fees etc.
There are lot of them out there do your research.

We spent a while researching this and settled on using XE, have used them a few times so far and no issues. They don't charge a separate fee but make their money off the exchange rate.

We've used Halo Financial and they follow the same principle - they make their money via the exchange rate and there is no fixed fee. It makes it harder to compare them without taking on trust the 'mark up' they claim but we've used them three times it seems to work well.

We also use Halo and we've not had any problems. Their Exchange rate has usually been competitive with others available at the time.
