Money issues
 

Hi All

My house is not getting sold and I am getting worried since I move in 5 week's time to Calgary. This means I will have limited cash. Can anyone tell me what it will cost a family of 4 adults to live modestly for a mth, minus rent since I am using someone's place for the first few mths.

If you are not paying rent, you should be able to get by on $500 to $700 a week, to pay for food, phone, car, and the inevitable surprise needs.

I know that sounds like a lot, but remember that you will be buying things that you don't buy very often, like cleaning supplies, toilet paper, a broom and dust pan, and the like.
