MOncton, NB
Been in Canada over three years now. No regrets.
Took early retirement, house sale in Bristol gave cash to buy a family home plus a duplex. Income goes further for my new family of four than it did for just me back in Bristol. |

Re: MOncton, NB
There are a few members of this forum in NB or with better knowledge of the IT side of things than me. No doubt they'll come in later. My choice of Moncton was completely unrelated to work.
I have visited Fredericton and the 'downtown' is quite nice. The rest of it didn't seem so different to Moncton, except for big residential parks. I saw Saint John back in 1975 and I recall what seemed a big city. We don't drive, so we needed to live central to everything. The equivalent in Fredericton would have cost far more than we wanted to pay when we moved here from Quebec. Big advantage of Moncton is Parlee Beach/Shediac about 15-20 minutes away. |
