Missing person appeal - East Sussex

1 Attachment(s)
My friends' son has gone missing.. if there are any of you in the East Sussex area, could you please keep a look out? Thank you. He was in Hastings but lives in Bexhill.

Joshua Roberts went missing from Mad 4 Mobiles in Hastings at around 11am Saturday. He was supposed to be going for an eye appointment but never went. Last seen in Yates pub, Hastings around midday. His phone has been turned off, no contact to any family members or friends. No reason known for his disappearance.

He was wearing the same jacket as in the profile picture. He has a patchy short beard (like he hasn't shaved in a week), green/brown hazel eyes, possibly wearing a grey woolen zip up jumper underneath. Blue jeans, white and blue trainers. Grey woolen hat and a beige shoulder bag.

Joshua went missing at around 11:45 on Saturday 10th Nov 2012.

He didn't turn up for work today and there has still been no contact from him.

He is 24 year old, married and a father.

This is totally out of character and his family are very worried.

Thank you.

Thanks :)

I have known Josh's family for 25 years - his brother (sadly killed in an RTA at 18) and my son were best friends. It's tough being so far away and not being able to help in person.

I'm also in the Bexhill area at present. I'll 'share' the Facebook link on.

Thank you so much - there are almost 1300 people on the 'Find Joshua' facebook page, everyone is posting and spreading the word so hopefully some news will be forthcoming.

It's very worrying.. so unlike him.

:fingerscrossed:

Why? He has been found... nothing more needs to be said.

Would I have posted "good news" if he wasn't?

just curious , as you've come on a public forum asking for help

just wondered if the actions leading to his vanishing were 'out of character'
- did he fall / collpase / medical issue / bunk up with a piece of fluff / get mugged / day trip to calais for cheap booze etc ?

I came on a public forum, which I have been a member of for years, asking people to spread the word that he was missing, and many did for which I am very grateful.

I did say in my original post that it was totally out of character for him. He was missing for 3 days with no contact with his wife, family or friends.

He and his family have gone through some very difficult and tragic times and I am led to believe that his disappearance was in direct relation to them, hence the concern.

He is now back with his loving family, thankfully.

I would ask that no further questions or comments are made please...

Thank you.
