Ministers Permit
 

I need info about the Minister's Permit required to cross the border into Canada. I was told by a private permit in Canada that I would need to spend about $700.00 (US) to purchase a permit and it would take up to 8 weeks. What is the policy as to entering Canada with a Class 'C' misdemanor record punishable only be paying a fine or by time served? I will be delivering goods in a bobtail truck, maybe only 200-250 miles inside the border. Please, only advise if you know for sure. This is very important.

The immigration at the port decide about Minister Permits, you cannot buy
them or guarantee getting one

They cost $200
