Which method to take
 

Hi,

I would consider myself quite a smart guy but cannot for the life of me work out how to navigate my way round the Canada Immigration site lol. Basically, my partner and I want to go to Canada for a year. We are British citizens from Northern Ireland. Both 25. Healthy, no criminal record, both have degrees, work experience, few pound in our bank accounts. Our jobs unforunately do not need the requirements of the "skilled workers visa". So we are unsure of the other method to take. We do have some money saved, that we could probably stretch, but in an ideal world we would like to go over for a year, work a bit, travel a bit. That kind of thing.

Could someone very kindly point me in the correct direction of which way to go? Visa that needs applied for etc?

IEC (was BUNAC) if you just want a one year look see, but the allocated slots go fast and are hugely oversubscribed.

It is showing there are still 3,700 (Ireland) 3,300 (UK) places available (less any in process) but I would suggest acting swiftly to secure a place as it appears they are overwhelmed with applications. You can also apply for a 2nd year should you wish to.
