You need to target the specific health boards, here are a few below (just find the careers section!)

http://www.viha.ca/careers/

http://www.fraserhealth.ca/Careers/Pages/default.aspx

http://www.vch.ca/careers/

Vancouver Island Health Authority (VIHA), Fraser Valley Health Board and Vancouver Coastal Health Board all have RMN (registered psychiatric nurse... sure you knew that already ;-)) type roles :-)

I do not want to be too critical, but in a previous thread (22 May 09) you mentioned that you wanted info regarding where to go and settle in Canada and reference registration in the different provinces. So are you registered in any province in Canada, or not? Because if you are not, you might as well tackle that issue first.

Yes, I did read the posts, but there is still a contradiction regarding her post from April (not May, sorry ).
http://britishexpats.com/forum/showthread.php?t=605958

- Still confused -

I always thought you would have to actually be in the country to apply for registration and do the exam to practise as a mental heath nurse in BC/AB?
But, of course, I might be wrong.

You do not have to be in the country to apply for registration but you do have to sit the exam in Canada but many get eligibility to sit then come over and start work and sit the exam at the next convenient date
