Cold-handed testing of the two-veg. General prod and poke, pee-test, BP and weight. Toe-touch. Eye pokey. Few questions, obvious yes/no answers. Chest X-ray and bloodwork follows.

Pay your money, thank you and have a great day. Don't be shy. :o

Rich.

Doesn't sound to bad - do you get completely undressed or just down to undies - read somewhere I may have to have an internal - please say no. Also read my husband may need a rectal exam - surely not please. Sorry it is probably not that bad but I have read so much conflicting info and scare stories and I hate doctors at the best of times.

Not for me.

Go to the search function, pick "advanced search". Select the canada forums

Enter "Medicals" as the search term, select "search titles only" and "show results as threads"

Bobs your relative of some sort.

Female medical is largely the same as the male one. I've never heard of any sort of invasive prodding on an immigration medical before, unless patient history would indicate its necessary.

If you do have recent pap test results you might as well take them, but I wasn't even asked about that. (In Horsham) None of us had any intimate examinations whatsoever! We didn't even have to undress, AND I was wearing my big knickers just in case! :D

You're worried about an internal exam, and your username is "gloveman"? Come on, get a grip (oops).
