Medicals

We're in Edmonton on TWP at the moment, but plan to apply to have our PR fast tracked in the next day or so.
What do the medicals involve? I'm not particularly concerned about me- more our kids. Do they need to have blood tests etc? They're 2 and 3, so I'm not sure that'd go too well!

dont worry - no blood tests or xrays for 2 and 3 yr olds. Just a general grope around, height, weight, ears, eyes etc. Maybe a wee sample from the 3 yr old. My 5 yr old giggled through most of it and the littlie (almost 2 at the time) was very impressed with himself for saying 'aaarh' at the right time!

kids ones don't have blood tests or xrays. just a urine test

but my daughter was disapointed as we'd told her she'd get a toy if she was brave during the blood test.
she wasn't happy when she found out she wasn't having one !

Re: Medicals

urine test depends on the age of the children - my 5 yr old did, my 23 mth old didn't.
