Medical Exams and Background check

Hello to all,

I applied 17 months ago for permanent visa as Skilled Imm. Last week I heard from my laywer saying that the embassy has contacted him and asked my medicals. The message says " The embassy in Vienna is requesting that you undergo your Medical Examination, submit a new police certificate (issued by the Ministry of Interior), provide updated proof of funds showing at least $11,115 CAD or equivalent.

Is this a good sign ? I am ablout to undergo medicals ? How long it might take until I hear back from them ?

Well, if that is indeed the letter your lawyer received, then yes, you have been asked to take your medicals  I'd give your lawyer a call and he should be able to guide you through the next steps. Congrats! :)
