Does anybody know anything about medicals. My daughter is visiting me here in Canada and will be applying for her landed when she returns to England in October but can she have her medical done here in Canada as there are very few doctors she can use in England

There are LOADS of doctors she can go to in Britain. (Do you want the URL for the list? I can hunt it out... ) And, you cannot do your medical prior to applying or being notified that it is required.

If she is coming to Canada as a family class applicant, she should actually do her medical before sending the application....

"To build on the efficiency of this new process, CIC has introduced a process, which allows clients to complete the medical examination prior to submitting the joint application. " http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/sponsor/medicals.html

I don't know if the same is applicable for any of the other types of immigration though.
