Default Marketing in Nova Scotia

Hi
We are moving over to NS in August 09....I am on a student visa. My OH is an experienced marketing manager in consumer goods. Can anyone recommend recruitment consultants or companies in Halifax he can approach prior to us landing.
Thanks

The two main recruitment consultancy firms in Halifax are Robertson Surette and Gerald Walsh. But generally it seems you cannot rely only on recruitment firms to find you a job in Halifax. My advoce is to identify through web research a handfull of companies based in NS that operate in a similar industry to you OH's previous experience and target them directly.

Thank you for your help. He has just started to do a target list, but is not sure when to approach them as we are not moving until Aug 09. We are coming over in April, do you think this would be a good time to get in touch with them? Thanks again

I think if it was me I would wait until about 3-4 weeks before my visit and then start calling employers - aiming to arrange an interview for during the visit.
