Default Manitoba Region

Hi,
Really interested in immigrating to this region. It would be to farm(to buy our own farm). Was in Birtle recently, really liked! Can anyone advise on the area or know anything reference farming in this region.

The Brandon area seems to be very popular with ex-pats, good farm land, near a reasonably sized town.

I know nothing about Farms, but these may be of help:-

My son and DIL have recently emigrated and have bought a farm in Manitoba near Carberry. They love it and the process was not too daunting at all.
