Wow this thread has turned funny again, who turned it around - was it Atlantic Xpat? I have to go back to page 6 to check....

Now, back to Post #1, what can I pick out to be critical of ... hold on ... nope, it's all been done ... it all went downhill after #4

There are no Swiss Chalet branches in Manitoba, Saskatchewan or Quebec.

But Quebec does have an equivalent doesn't it? http://www.st-hubert.com/EN/Home
There is a similar chain called Au Coq. That amuses me, for some reason.

I ate in a SH in Montreal back in Feb. It was indistinguishable from a SC other than being branded differently and having a nicer bar area.

Mr Chookie won't even entertain the idea of eating in a Swiss Chalet...
In his first job over here, he was sent to fix a printer in the kitchen in one (one of those printers they use to print the order tickets out I imagine). Before going, he was warned to walk carefully as the floor was likely to be greasy (apparently it was so coated in grease it was like a skating rink! ) and the printer in question was totally clogged with fat and grease and that was why it was not working!
I think the experience put him off ever eating there!
