Everywhere?

There are no Swiss Chalet branches in Manitoba, Saskatchewan or Quebec.

It does. SC pulled out of Quebec because it couldn't compete with SH. I've no idea what they are like. I've never been in one.

There is a similar chain called Au Coq. That amuses me, for some reason.

I ate in a SH in Montreal back in Feb. It was indistinguishable from a SC other than being branded differently and having a nicer bar area.

Mr Chookie won't even entertain the idea of eating in a Swiss Chalet...

In his first job over here, he was sent to fix a printer in the kitchen in one (one of those printers they use to print the order tickets out I imagine). Before going, he was warned to walk carefully as the floor was likely to be greasy (apparently it was so coated in grease it was like a skating rink! ) and the printer in question was totally clogged with fat and grease and that was why it was not working!

I think the experience put him off ever eating there!

I wouldn't eat off the floor or the printer either.
