hi we are moving over to Bridgewater Nova Scotia in October of this year, as this is a huge move for us we are looking for ex pats in the area to hook up with and help us feel we are not all alone.
Also looking for a property to rent, initially furnished for a month or two and need to be pet friendly as we have two cats and two huskies any help greatly received

Hi we are hoping to move to the Truro area in NS next year. I have found this sight really useful. I have also found two Facebook sights really useful and have had so much info from people on there. The links are BE's of Nova Scotia and Official BE's of Nova Scotia.

thanks for that, i am a member of both face book groups but no one seems to be in the south shore area, all seem to have gone for Bedford and near Halifax

There are lots of British people in Bridgewater. Some come on here too so they will probably be in touch sometime soon. We're a little bit further down from Bridgewater... like 2 hours, in Yarmouth :)

thanks everyone a great relief to know there are plenty of ex pats in the area, i was beginning to think they where all up Halifax way!!!
still looking for a 3 bedroom pet friendly rental on the park view bus route or close buy, we have a place to start with but not ideal and very expensive.
any help with this would be great
