Permanent Residency, Job offer and LMO confirmation

Hi, Applied for PR in Aug 2005.Recently got a job offer , and also got my LMO confirmation.I have now applied for a work permit. Will this speed up my application for PR at London office,or would I be better off scrapping this and re applying through the Provincial nominee Program?Nobby

How long are you expecting the work permit to last? Is the job one you can see yourself wanting to stay in for 3-4 years?
AFAIK if you scrap this app you have to pay the fees all over again and PNP requires additional as well.

Nobby

Here on a work permit with family
My AOR was July 05, since arrriving here in September 06 I have already had my medical requests from London UK

So I would say it does speed up your application process by quite a considerable margin

Re: lmo

When we applied for the Work Permits our PR medicals were brought forward and we never actually got the WP's issued so it would appear that it helps speed things up.
