Question living/working in toronto

Hi there I was wondering if anyone could help.
I am currently applying for permanent residence in Canada, I am a Tool and Die maker who is married with 2 children, I am currently looking into the Torronto area.
Which areas are good for both my work in engineering and good access to good schools (as well as near to shops for my wife hehe). I would appreciate any help or guidence anyone could give as I am currently looking at the housing market but dont know in which areas to start looking.
Ohh and by the way if you know of anyone who is interested in employing a hard working toolmaker.......please feel free to let me know.
