Dear Mr dboy, I have criticised the Brits for their failings.I have never said it is alright to colonise or kill baby lambs. Why don't you try reading my posts properly? I have you down as a bit of a village idiot.

Ann,
I don't know where I said I expected Canada to look like Britain. I definitely don't. I do realise that it's going to be different. There are many beautiful places. For me it's just not beautiful enough and that's ok. I went to Drumheller a few years ago. It's a strange landscape.

Chookie. Yikes, I'm not fond of police even with great bods. I like kind, gentle people the best.

Becoming a Canadian citizen. Chapter 12, Page 293, Para 4:

"All new immigrants shall kill and skin a seal. Preferably in full sight of Pamela Anderson (fake boobs/fake canadian) and Paul McCartney. A Hakapik is recommended but failing that your teeth will do."

Do you not think police can be kind, gentle people? My OH is in the police and is truly one of the kindest, most gentle people I have ever met.

Sorry, it might be me, because of many factors, I don't quite trust authority figures. There are exceptions to every rule. I'm glad you have a good one.

Lets hope the wolves (human) never descend on you and yours. Because you a will be grateful for the authority figures then.

No, I don't think so. Bloody authority figures.... the fact that they want this position of authority makes them inherently untrustworthy and probably mildly psychopathic. They also get paid, they don't need gratitude as well - it only over-inflates their egos.

No worries - his colleagues still don't understand why he brakes for gophers instead of running them over!
