Default Letting House in UK - HMRC NRL1 Form

Hi,

We are currenlty just about to let our house and have been advised by the letting agency to fill out the NRL1 form to avoid having to pay UK tax on our rental income (accepting of course that CRA will want their peice of the action instead ) and we're now stumped on question 21 of the form which is to do with Tax allowance and relief.

We think we tick the "None of these" box. The only other box that we think could possibly apply is the "You are a national and also a resident of Argentina, Australia, Canada..etc." but we don't think we can tick this box and just wanted to check what others had done.

Hope someone can help.

Ta

Why not the first box?

It is a very good point. We re read the form again and that's most definitely the option to tick. Just having a bit of a brain freeze moment

Thanks for your help, much appreciated.
