Congratulations.

Good luck trying to sell your house. Beware of estate agents suggesting over optimistic prices in the current climate. Ours has been on the market for months and we've just significantly dropped the price for a 3rd time :beer: . I'm in Calgary while the rest of my family hang on with the house until its sold. Mega stressful :(

ooohhh, my wife didn't buy that one, I had to give her a date which was 9 weeks after I got here, regardless of weather the house was sold or not. In that time I had to buy 2 cars and a house or else :eek: Managed ok, just, the house sold just before she left and she liked the house I bought. I will forever consider myself one extremely lucky #%^*$&

If I had my way, the family would be here now with the estate agents working for their money, selling an empty house. Perhaps more difficult to sell, but our family would be a lot happier. It's also painfully expensive running a rental house here and a UK mortgage on a Canadian salary :beer: :beer: :beer: :beer:

Now for the jealousy bit - what the h**l was wrong with our application, we still haven't had our medical letter yet and have similar AOR to you...... tantrum:mad: Why if we've passed our initial assessment should it take a further 8 weeks to send the medical instructions through? What do they do in that time? Do they hand deliver it by foot, walking backwards all the way from London to the Midlands?
