Legal Beagle in South Surrey BC

Can anyone recommend a lawyer to provide an oversight of the house purchasing process in South Surrey BC please?

What stage of the process are you at? Usually in Canada you get a realtor, not a lawyer, to help with finding properties and making offers. A lawyer/notary only gets involved at the title transfer stage which is at the end of the process.

We've been working with a Realtor and have had an offer on a property accepted so we're now dealing with the "Subjects" - which include a building inspection - and need a lawyer to work on our behalf to make sure the whole deal from clear title to whatever are in order. Any advice would be most welcome.

The realtor should have a lawyer/notary they can recommend that they've used before, however I've used Shergill Notary in Langley for my sale and purchase and both times they were excellent.

Thanks for the suggestion, I have had another recommended by my Realtor so I shall give each a call and see who I like the sound of.
