I am moving canada in June/July got my VISA but I still have some of my student loan left to pay off. CIC did not see it as problem. I will just continue to pay it off once I am working in canada.

I agree with paying it all off before you go. Remember whatever you pay now in pounds you'll need twice as many dollars to make that happen and that will seriously impact your life in Canada.
We're paying off everything before we go because we see Canada as a fresh start and I would rather start over debt free than trying to scrape together money for paying off my old life whilst trying to settle into a new one!!!
