Leasebusters
Has anyone here actually used leasebusters for a vehicle?
What was the experience like? How long did were you in Canada before taking over a lease? Would you recommend them? Thanks in advance  |
Re: Leasebusters
It will be interesting to see...Im pretty sure when you read the smallprint that a favourable canadian credit check is required...a stumbling block for many newcomers.
My wife at one point took over a lease through the local Mazda dealer, and it was a no fuss deal...worked out well for us and them. |
Re: Leasebusters
Nothing wrong with lease buster and can be a really great way to take over someones lease. Make sure you thoroughly check the car over and you are realistic about your millage. because you will pay heavily for over running the lease millage. You are responsible for that car and it will be inspected at the end of the lease and may even have to folk out for new tires. look for the buy back ones. So you can buy the car at the end of the lease. This is best way to go IMO. I have know at least 2 people who have had great success.
* Confirm that the information here is the same as the actual lease contract * Confirm that all service required is up to date * Confirm who pays for vehicle inspections, lease transfer fees, license transfers etc. * Do you have to pay a security deposit or is the existing one being transferred to you? * You will need to fill out a credit application and submit it to the original selling dealer and or leasing company for credit approval. * They will process all necessary paperwork and make arrangements to finalize the lease transfer. * That's it! |

Thanks for the advice
 |
Re: Leasebusters
Another thing I should point out. Sometimes the buyback can be more than the car is worth on the used market and you're find that same car can be brought cheaper. Especially with the Domestics. So you have to bear this mine as well if you do decide to buy the car at the end of the lease. :)
