Hi guys,

Landing Monday as a PR

I'm also going to be bringing money into the country soon which I've inherited. Are there any tax considerations since tax has already been paid in the UK? Are there considerations around whether it should be brought over immediately or later along the line?

Any thoughts and advice on this subject are appreciated!

(actually technically speaking, the inheritance was given to a sibling who then 'gifted' an equal share to other family members, me included)

Ha! Thanks for the reply, appreciate it. I won't be physically carrying it. A family member has it in the UK, they'll transfer it to me, I'll then wire it to my account in Canada.

I was just wondering about tax implications etc. really
