Landing in Canada
Hi All
I'm coming over to Canada for two week in June to land, and then coming over for good in September. What information am I likely to need when I land for the immigration officers? How do I show proof of funds. Any help appreciated!!!!!!!! |

For starters, i should think having all your documents, and letters from CHC should be with you at the time. Am sure you know its going to take three months before you get your PR card, without it, you might not be allowed back into the country. Good luck |

Good luck Re: proof of funds - a bank statement showing funds may be required or some such documentation. Examples in the cic site shows funds can be in the form of cash, travellers cheques, money order etc. As you're landing and then leaving again shortly after I would imagine that they wouldn't expect you to have all your cash with you on landing, but you may need to show that funds are available back in the UK should you need them. (Just my own thoughts though!! ;) ) |
