Landed!

Landed today at the Detroit/Windsor Tunnel (already been here nearly 2 years on a TWP). Straightforward - took about 20 mins or so. Guy was very pleasant indeed - welcomed us to Canada

Hard to believe we're here for good now - not quite sunk in yet!

HI

Good to hear that you landed. Can you tell me if you needed to fill any form there as I intend to land tomorrow Sunday in Montana? I read somewhere on a forum that you need to fill the PR card. Can I print and fill it in advance cos I just want to speed up things as we are a family of 4?

Your advice will be appreciated. Congrats again.

Sorry, I'm probably a bit late.... but everything is done on the COPR form - DO NOT write on it until you get to the POE though, the IO will tell you what to do...

Re: Landed!

Hi

What a bad reception we got from the IO at Carway in Alberta. His first reaction was: " Where do you live?" We said: 'Calgary' Then he said: 'Why can't you do it in Calgary?' He was very grumpy. Took all our documents and made us sit there for 10 mins. Then we signed our forms one by one.

Ok you can go now and you will get your PR cards in 2 months time........

My youngest daughter asked me whats wrong with this man? We were the only one there at 6:00 pm as we spent the day in Montana.

We all agree that we dont care about him and we are all happy to get our PR activated.
