It just struck me

that I don't know if I've missed something glaringly obvious. I'm a returning citizen (been gone a long time) and am bringing my family over to live.

Do I need to inform anyone/do anything prior to landing that I'm (and my Canadian citizen children) coming to live in Canada again? I was just assuming I told the BSO when I hand over my goods accompanying/goods to follow list. Then I thought today - Eek what if I've missed something entirely that I haven't done!

Have I read somewhere that we need to enter on Canadian passports? Or is this a figment of my imagination?

Thanks
P:)

I would use your Canadian passports if you have them, if not there is a returning resident form I have had to use (my PR card had a photo glitch so couldn't be issued), you can download it from the GIC website if you need. Not sure if it applies to citizens though?

If not travelling on Canadian passports what documentation/proof do you have as Canadian citizens to show the BSO you are a citizen?;)
